1. God is good, trustworthy, just and faithful
2. God is not your imaginary friend who's just going to do what you want him to do

Evil always overplays its hand.

The blood of the lamb saves us from our sins.

Why can we trust this God?

1. God is a good judge who we can trust
2. He’s no stranger to sufferings and death
3. He accompanies us in the midst of our sufferings.
