Along with elders, the New Testament establishes the office of deacon in God’s plan for the leaders who lovingly serve the local church. Deacons serve and lead the various ministries of the church under the guidance of the elders. Please pray for and encourage these men and women as they love others and make ministry happen.

Steve Sands

Steve handles most of our benevolence requests as well as a lot of logistics and serves on our Leadership Team. He is married to Linda and has two children.

Holly Anderson

Holly is married to her high school sweetheart Jay ( who plays bass in the worship band). They enjoy traveling to visit kids and grandchildren in Switzerland and Oregon. She serves on the welcome and mission teams and is a member of Harbor Women’s Bible study.

"What I enjoy the most about being Deacon of Connection is being the friendly face to newcomers.  Connecting them to a small group or ministry and being a contact person for questions they may have has been very rewarding."
