The Peace Child - Luke 1

Alex is wrapping up this series.

Jesus is the strong and mighty peace child who comes to declare war against all our anxieties.

In this life, God’s severe mercy always serves his tender mercies. Every time God says "No," his "No" is always there to serve his larger "Yes."

The reality is ALL of us need someone to guide our feet down this path of peace all the way to the end.

There are 3 things about the path of peace:

1. Sometimes we have to fight for the path of peace
2. The path of peace/shalom/wholeness requires greater attachment to the guide than to the sights along the path
3. We don’t know what this path will lead us through

None of us know what this path of peace will take us through, we only know two things:

1. We know where the path ends, that is, the kingdom of God, final redemption, home, beauty, glory, love, light, life forever and ever
2. We know that the one who leads us down this path is GOOD. HE IS GOOD! You can trust him. He is more trustworthy than any of us!
