Finding Forgiveness | Week 3 "The Princess Bride Problem with Forgiveness"

1. The person you can’t forgive is already forgiven in Christ.
2. Jesus Christ is in us.
3. Therefore, we don’t have to generate forgiveness; we just demonstrate it.

Two things we have to do in our internal worlds, between us and God:

1. Have you accepted Jesus’ offer to absorb your sin?
2. Are you willing to demonstrate / participate in Jesus’ forgiveness of those who have sinned against you?

Three steps to true freedom of forgiveness:

1. Recognize Reality
2. Embrace Reality
3. Participate in Reality
