New Year, New Voice for the Connect Devotional
New Voice and a New Start on New Year’s Day.
We’ve been doing the Connect Devotional for several of years and we regularly get feedback both on the posts and via other channels that it’s been a blessing to many of you. Thanks for the encouragement!
99.99999% of these posts have been written by Steve Tamayo. In an effort to move Steve’s work load down from 2.5 jobs to 1, we’ve juggled some of his responsibilities around. In so doing, we’ve taken the Connect Devotional off of Steve’s plate and put it onto Alex’s.
I’m going to do my best to match Steve’s rich and thoughtful and concise posts--which shall be a considerable challenge. I’m particularly concerned about my ability to match his tight, crisp sentences!
I’m looking forward to the opportunity to pick up the Connect Devotional in the New Year. In the meantime, if you’ve been touched by Steve’s great work with these devotionals, please take just a minute to drop him a note of thanks: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Happy New Year! As we start a new year, here’s one of the oldest blessings on the Bible. May you receive today with great joy and may it mark your 2019:
24 “‘“The Lord bless you
and keep you;
25 the Lord make his face shine on you
and be gracious to you;
26 the Lord turn his face toward you
and give you peace.”’
