Help Chatham County Beat the Heat.
This summer, The Salvation Army in Siler City is seeking the support of our church family to address the seasonal needs of homeless individuals and families in crisis throughout Chatham County. This is a meaningful opportunity for us to demonstrate Christ‑like generosity by providing practical, high‑impact items—from everyday essentials like sunscreen, bug spray, and soap to larger needs such as sleeping bags, box fans, and air conditioning units. Together, we can offer comfort, dignity, and relief to our Chatham County neighbors during the hottest months of the year. We will be collecting items at the North Chatham Campus beginning on May 24 through June 7.

• Sunscreen (any SPF)

• Washcloths or personal disposable wipes

• Laundry Detergent Sheets (easy-to-carry, biodegradable in public water supply)

• Menstrual Supplies

• Nail Care Supplies

• Basic First Aid Supplies/Wound Care

• Bug Spray/Mosquito Mitigation Devices

• Bug Netting (to put on outdoor tents or cots)
