Joyful, joyful we adore thee
2They celebrate your abundant goodness
and joyfully sing of your righteousness.
- Psalm 145:7
Singing is one of the ways we give praise to God.
The Bible is full of songs of praise. Flip through the Psalms and you'll find dozens and dozens of ways to express adoration to God. You can find praise songs in the Old Testament and in the New, from men and women, in tough situations and in joy-filled ones.
Throughout the history of the Christian movement, men and women have written songs of praise to God. They worked with biblical themes and gave their own twists and insights. And these songs have been passed down from generation to generation - a tidal wave of praise to God.
One of the songs we've found helpful for praising God is "Joyful, joyful we adore thee." Give it a listen and (if you can get away with it) sing along.
