Jesus says: “Follow me
and now you’ll fully know
how to be fully free
so you can freely go.”

And now where will you go
when you know what you know
and your feet now are free
to flee your slavery?

Will your freedom take you
to where angels fear to
tread or even wander?
Freedom’s easy to squander.

Will you hide your status
and live as a slave though
free, that common sadness?
Your freedom sits fallow.

Or will you stand up tall
And with a loud voice call
“Free at last! Free at last!
I thank God Almighty
I’m free at last!”

Where will your freedom take you?
