Serving with Compassion

The Congregational Care Ministry exists to support individuals and families in our church community who are facing challenges or hardships. Rooted in Jesus’ call to love and serve one another, this ministry helps facilitate both the giving and receiving of care in times of need.


Types of Care We Offer

  • Prayer

  • Meal preparation and delivery

  • Home and hospital visits

  • Specialized services and referrals

  • Budget counseling

  • Pregnancy support

  • Divorce Care

  • Al-Anon (addiction support)

  • Center for Psychological & Family Services

  • Elder on Call – available each month for crisis or emergency support

Ways You Can Serve

At the heart of this ministry is a desire to care for the personal and spiritual needs of our church family. There are many ways to get involved, including:

  • Preparing casseroles for our freezer ministry

  • Making or delivering meals

  • Running errands or assisting with shopping

  • Visiting those in the hospital or recovering at home

  • Providing transportation to appointments or church

  • Offering 30 minutes of light housework

  • Performing minor home repairs

  • Committing to regular prayer for someone in need

  • Supporting members with long-term care needs

  • Sending notes of encouragement

  • Helping coordinate short- or long-term care plans

  • Serving as a point of contact for someone needing assistance
