2026-2027 Budget
A budget is a vision and mission delivery device. When done well, it matches resources to fuel priorities to help us reach more people, develop more disciples and impact our community. Below are a few examples of how the budget you approved last year did just that.
Force Multiplier for Kingdom Good: Making Disciples
Our discipleship goal for Vision 2027 is to see every person regularly involved at CCC take at least one class or engage in some outside-of-Sunday-morning activity that develops their faith. Last summer we had a record number of Summer Better workshops and a record number of attendees. And we continue to round out our offerings with more classes year-round, from the Marriage Course to Alpha.
Significant Movement for the Pittsboro Campus
The Pittsboro campus rolled in with North Chatham in January as we prepare for the renovations to the East Street property. We're delighted that the Lord has opened the door for both our next medium-term spot on East Street as well as the five acres south of the circle for the permanent location.
Worship Multiplied Campaign
In February and March we launched a fundraising campaign to enable us to move on what's next for CCC. And the church responded! We had pledges of nearly $400k towards the land purchase for Pittsboro and another nearly $400k in "General Fund Boost" pledges, approximately $15k/month to go towards paying down the loan more quickly among other priorities. Thanks so much for your generosity!
Looking Ahead
This coming fiscal year, the proposal includes a leaner budget for a projected surplus for the building upfit at the East Street PBO Campus. We are excited about this opportunity to nearly double our capacity in our worship space and in Chatham Kids, as well as provide additional spaces for gathering and offices.
