Compassion
We are often asked about our service involvement in the community and around the world. For example, we might hear, "What does your church do to serve the community?" Or, "How is Chatham Church involved in helping the underprivileged around the world?"
These are good questions. We hope to be increasingly on mission both locally and internationally.
Local Opportunities
On the local front, we have many ways that you can get involved in serving Chatham County. We prefer not to replicate ministries that are already doing an excellent job meeting specific needs in our community. When appropriate, we have chosen to funnel human and financial resources into a handful of organizations that are doing a far better job within their spheres of influence than we could ever do. In other cases, we have created ministries that we believe we are called to offer to the community. Below you will find our current list of what we refer to as Local Outreach.
