Interesting story: I have a group of guys I call my “Fandango” guys. We stole this title from the movie. We became friends in college, and began meeting regularly to encourage one another to follow Jesus in the ups and downs of college life. Over time, we grew close as we challenged one another and prayed for one another. Before we graduated, we decided to take a “fandango” trip like the guys in the movie. We drove to Mexico the week before finals in order to bury a bottle which would be a sort of time capsule for us. In the bottle, we each included something that was very important to us, a list of life goals we wanted achieve, and a list of spiritual commitments we were making. Ten years later, we returned to the spot, dug up the bottle, and relived everything that had gone into the bottle a decade earlier. It was amazing to see how God had been at work in our lives and celebrate it with a group of men I trusted and loved like brothers. Every guy needs a fandango group. I’m grateful for mine.
Jeff came to Chatham Community Church as Lead Pastor in September, 2007.

Vacation spot: We travel every summer to St. Augustine, FL. Great beach and great seafood!
Interesting story: My wife and I met on a college mission trip to Slovakia back in 1994. Betsy was the only other person on our team that summer that cared to find a USA Today to get the results for the NBA draft. She caught my eye then and we’ve been disagreeing about our sports teams ever since.
Brian joined the staff of Chatham Community Church as Pastor of Ministry Development in August, 2008.
